What's Your Dream?
• Imagine your life lived free, in love and creating your life purpose.
• Imagine a world defined by compassion, beauty, creativity, truth and freedom.
Our dream is who we are. It's our essence. Just as an apple seed always tries to become an apple tree exactly as it has been designed and crafted, we are always trying to express and be . . . us. Our essence may have become clouded and suppressed below fear and judgment of our own worth and value. But it's there always living in us trying to live as us.
Like the apple, orange and oak trees, we are all purposely designed and crafted with perfection. Under all the layers of emotion, conditioning, beliefs, and baggage is this perfection of who we really are. Some call it our soul or our higher self. What ever name you choose it's the only part of you that is real. It's the only part that endures.
No matter how hard you try to suppress and avoid your essence it's always there waiting to be lived. When ever we don't live true to our essence we suffer. Not living from our essence happens gradually over time. Some time in our life we lost our way. From years of conditioning and painful emotions we lose connection to our own being. Parents, family, friends, teachers and colleagues, disconnected from their own essence, lead us astray.
We are told to be content with a half life. That it's foolish to dream. We are told who and what we should be. From fear we live a false life in an attempt to get love, safety, security and approval. Some spend a life dreaming but never creating. Some spend a life accepting awful circumstances as their 'lot in life'. Years go by and we are never fulfilled or truly happy. Always knowing that something is missing. Something is not quite right. We try to convince ourselves we are content and should be happy. We seek out false substitutes of wealth, knowledge, power, fame, sex . . . that never satisfy. And always our essence tries to live through us.
In order to avoid our essence and living the full, powerful, passionate life we are, we contract in fear. We make ourselves small so that we are not seen. When we contract we also contract our awareness and see our life from our own very limited perspective. We take this limited contracted perspective to all the issues we face, in our work life, relationships, personal life and spiritual journey. The negative spiral continues.
We are all on the same journey seeking to discover our essence and to live it. To live our potential and our truth. To create and manifest our purpose. To live free from fear. To live love. To live your essence and to be the love you are under your fear, takes courage and determination to challenge your limiting beliefs, old patterns and selfishness. We have to be willing and have courage. Life is waiting but it will wait for as long as we chose.
This is not a journey for the faint hearted or those who aren't ready to leave behind their comfort zone. Discovering and healing the blocks we have built to love, to our purpose, our wisdom, our passion and our power is a journey that is likely to result in the release of painful emotions, lead to revisiting past experiences or trauma, challenge beliefs you held to be true, invite criticism and turn everything you believed upside down.
There is a way home to live the dream of who you really are. There is a way through your fear. Every one of us has an inner wisdom to guide us home. Everyone of us is the love we seek. Everyone of us has the passion and power to manifest our dreams. We all have own internal guidance system constantly giving us feedback showing us the way. But a lifetime ignoring it and doubting our own truth and wisdom has led us astray. By connecting to who we are we all can transform our lives. When we live from our essence every part of our life comes into perfect alignment with perfect harmony and perfect fulfilment.
