The breath is the starting point for every practice and for all coaching sessions. By learning to consciously breath we can transform all aspects of our life including our relationships, business, decision making, suppressed trauma, sex life and spiritual growth.
On being born into this world, the breath is the essence that enters our body. It is with the breath that we come into consciousness from the watery unconscious slumber of gestation. At the end of our life the breath is the last thing that leaves the body as we make the transition to death.
Breath is our most vital tool, our chariot, on our path to awaken into this world from the unconscious creations of our ego. Just as the breath is the defining moment of birthing the physical body, it is with conscious breath that we awaken spiritually to undertake the journey of enlightenment and healing. The breath leads us directly to living from our essence.
The great spiritual traditions all express the importance of breath. From the meditations of Zen Buddhism, Hindu ‘prana’, the ‘chi’ of Chinese spirituality and the original teachings of Christ, conscious breathing is essential but overlooked by the mind focused ego.
In the original Aramaic and Hebrew, the word for ‘breath’ is the same word as for ‘Holy Spirit’. Breath is the spirit and vitality of life. It is the key to unlocking our source of inner guidance. With conscious breath you reunify your being and connect with your source.
When we contract in fear the first things that happens is your breath becomes flat and shallow. When your breath becomes shallow it is likely you will experience limiting or judgmental thoughts. With the breath we can begin to loosen that which is rigid within, our suppressed emotions can surface, old limiting beliefs can be transformed, past conditioning let go and addictions healed.
In business, politics or your work life, learning to breath will transform your living energy and more importantly will allow you to access your own wisdom. As the breath becomes shallow so does your awareness and your flow of creativity.
To live your essence and to create the life of your dreams, conscious breathing is the one critical practice. This is not a nice optional practice if you have time. True transformation cannot be achieved without it.
There are many types of breathing practices. One I have used extensively is a process called 'Love's Breath'. This is a breath used for deep personal transformation, healing the unconscious, releasing suppressed energy and reconnecting with your soul and your divine guidance.
The simple breath practice offered in this audio is designed to focus the breath on each energy centre or chakra in turn to allow these energy centres to gently open. By opening these energy centres you will find it is easier to live from your essence without effort.
